The mission of the Foundation for Dermatology Education is to develop and implement medical education activities devoted to advancing the field of dermatology and improving the care of dermatology patients.
Founded in 2020 by Professor Jonathan I. Silverberg, the Foundation for Dermatology Education is devoted to educating dermatologists, allergists, pediatricians/pediatric dermatologists and other specialists, as well as primary care clinicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, other allied health professionals and patients about skin disease and its management.
The Foundation supports projects which provide education about skin disease, improve dermatology education through innovative programs and enduring material, and improve global access to high quality dermatology education. The Foundation seeks to advance the care of patients with skin disease through continuous education that keeps pace with scientific advancement.
